When living in a small apartment, space is detrimental. It’s easy to feel like you’re living on top of yourself, so here are 3 tips for making the most out of your small space.
Get multifunctional. Whether it’s furniture or decoration, find every use for many things you own. Storage, one of the most beneficial features, can be found within most everyday household items. The less you see, the bigger it’ll feel.
Let it go. You never actually use that thing in the corner or that stuff in those boxes. Clear your apartment of things that you honestly don’t use. A good rule of thumb? If it hasn’t benefitted you in two years, it never will.
Build up, not out. Think wall shelves, closet hangers and wall TVs. Walls are a beautiful thing that you should take advantage of, especially living in small quarters. Expanding your walls to their full potential will open more room on the floor, giving you more space for furniture while simultaneously dressing up dull, empty walls.
